MEET JOHN SATTLER, ISSA Certified Personal Trainer
Fitness, strength training, and nutrition have always been strong components in my life. Ever since I can remember, I watched my father go to the gym every day and train, so being in shape became second nature for me. I was fortunate to have a positive role model in my life, but many have not had this life training. I’ve been involved in martial arts competition and training ever since I was 3 years old. I believe this is what led me to having the passion for fitness which ultimately led me to becoming a personal trainer.
After working in the corporate world for many years and realizing it wasn't for me, I decided to do a 180 with my career and become a personal trainer. I am a current Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Sports Nutritionist and CPR certified through ISSA. I studied Tae Kwon-Do and became a certified Master Instructor 4th Dan Black Belt in 1998 through World Martial Arts Association (WMAA) and certified 3rd Dan Black Belt through International Tae Kwon-Do Federation (ITF).
